A huge weekend sports slate has us excited to share value in this ACC matchup between UNC and NC State.

The value is found in the total for this game, currently listed at O/U 56. NC State Starting QB Devin Leary is out for the season and backup MJ Morris is questionable after not playing last week against Louisville. This will likely leave the Wolfpack with two scout team quarterbacks potentially splitting playing time. Last week they combined to only score 10 points against Louisville on 18 for 42 passing (just 43% completion rate). The public is taking the over in this game while smart money is on the under. This is a time to fade the public. We don’t see NC State scoring more than 17 points with their QB woes which means UNC would need an offensive blowout. Although they can score points, this will be a tougher test than usual as NC State allows just 18.7 points/game, ranked 16th in the nation! Even with the QB questions, oddsmakers only have the Tar Heels favored by 6.5. This shows they expect a closer, tight scoring battle today. NC State has only had one game total hit 56 points all season on September 10th.
