We see value to act on in this ACC/Big 10 Challenge matchup.
When #18 UNC visits #10 ranked Indiana there should be a lot of points scored. Currently, the O/U is at 143.5 points. The Tar Heels average 82.6PPG while the Hoosiers rank 7th in the nation with 88.8PPG. Keep in mind these numbers are a bit inflated to start the year as teams play pancake opponents. However, both teams can simply get buckets. UNC star forward Armano Bacot is questionable tonight with “sharp” ankle pains. While this is cause for concern, we feel his questionable status will actually allow both teams to play more freely offensively without the focus he demands down low. The Tar Heels don’t have much for backup post presence which will give Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis a field day down low. In order to keep pace, the Tar Heels guards will be getting up more jump shots leading to a faster pace of play. This is also a bounce-back spot for the Tar Heels after their quadruple overtime loss on Sunday, dropping them to the #1 ranked team last week. Coming off back-to-back losses you can expect their team to be aggressive offensively. The spread on the game is favoring Indiana by 5 points. In an expected close game, overtime or free throws at the end favor pushing this thing over.
Take UNC vs Indiana OVER 143.5 points!
